Desert Canyon Golf Club Wedding | Katie + Seth

Last weekend, Seth and Katie had a wedding at Desert Canyon Golf Club, and they couldn’t have been surrounded by more perfect people! Katie and Seth met almost four years ago, dating at the very end of senior year. You know, the adorable high school sweet heart type! About a year into their relationship, Seth joined the military and, after his training, was stationed in California. So their long distance relationship began!

“About a year ago, he got deployed on a ship for seven months. This was seven months of only emails and periods of a couple months where we did not have any communication at all. So, needless to say, we are very excited to get married and actually be together again!”

“We are both outdoorsy people and we love being goofy together! We truly are best friends.”

“I walked down the isle to the song I Get to Love You by Ellie Goulding. I just think it is a beautiful so g about being blessed to be able to move someone.”

“Our first dance song was A Million Dreams from the movie The Greatest Showman. When we watched the movie we both loved the scene with this song because it talked about starting small and not caring how much you have but just being together is important.”

Our favorite moment of the wedding was:
“During the reception when we could look out and see all of our family and friends having fun. We love our family so seeing them enjoying themselves as much as we were made the experience 100x better! Also, one of my favorite moments were the speeches… as you noticed I couldn’t stop crying the whole time.”

“My favorite detail… the sparklers send off even though we didn’t have you there to document it it was amazing! There were still a ton of people there and everyone was ecstatic to see us off. There was so much cheering and yelling and it looked beautiful. Seth said that was his favorite too.”
